When did you start working at STAC, and what is the best part about your job?
I started working at STAC in the Fall of 2013, I love working with STAC students and helping them develop a new product concept into a full blown marketing plan. My favorite role is working as the faculty advisor to the STAC chapter of the American Marketing Association. The club organizes events such as the Manhattan Retail Crawl, Social Media Networking Night and a trip to the NYC Auto Show.
What was your favorite and least favorite class in college?
My favorite class was actually an Internship at the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, D.C. I worked as an assistant to the anchor of the weekly television show, “It’s Your Business”. After that job I knew I didn’t want to work in television… sometimes finding out what you don’t like is as important as finding out what you do like. My least favorite class was Chemistry 101, it was called “baby chem” which was definitely a misleading a name!
Favorite college memory?
Spring Break in the Bahamas with my girlfriends. 10 of us started out on the same dorm floor freshman year. We are still great friends and get together every year for a girls’ weekend.
First Job?
My first full-time job was as a media buyer at DMB&B, an advertising agency in NYC.
Most used app?
Netflix

STAC Profs. Hawk, Shultz, Wendel, and Bellisio at Shape Magazine Half Marathon in NYC
You just sold your tech start up for 10 million dollars! What’s the first thing you do with the money?
I would give a portion to the YMCA, sometimes we forget that it is a charity and they have done so many great things for my family and the community. Then, I would have some fun, maybe a Tesla Model X and a trip to Fiji with my family.
Out of all the classes you teach, do you have a favorite?
Global Marketing – I love finding consumer trends, new products and new advertising from all over the world to share in class.
If someone made a movie about your life, which actress would you pick to play you?
Hmm…. maybe Amy Poehler ?
Any hobbies that people don’t know you have?
I love to cycle, I try to spin a few times a week and now that the weather is nice my husband and I try to go on long rides every weekend.
Current movie, TV, or music obsessions you want to mention?
I was a huge Breaking Bad fan so now I’m addicted to Better Call Saul. I love Netflix (Royal Pains, Making of a Murderer, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt) and of course HGTV Tiny House and House Hunters.
If you were a candy, what candy would you be?
Twix…. Definitely a Twix.
Best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
When I started working at Snapple one of my favorite bosses once told me… in order to really understand the consumer you will learn more from walking around NYC for a single day then you will from spending an entire month in your office. He was right, sometimes you just need to get out there.
