The semester is finally coming to an end (thank goodness), and there is only one thing on every student’s mind: CHRISTMAS BREAK.
Although finals can be rough the get through, it is totally worth it to have that nice A+ to show off to family members over the holidays. Spending break relaxing and catching up on sleep is definitely on the “To Do” list, but there are a bunch of other activities to do to have fun also!
My personal favorite thing to do is to go to a concert. Use that holiday money and buy yourself a concert ticket to your favorite band! It is totally worth it, and you will have memories and a cool t-shirt to take home, also! May I suggest trying to get tickets for Z100’s Jingle Ball? Luckily, my internship provides me with press passes to get into the show and I cannot wait to be there! Artists such as The Weeknd, Fifth Harmony, Demi Lovato and so much more are performing!
Although it will be pretty chilly out, taking a trip into New York City during the holidays is one of my favorite things to do. There are so many beautiful decorations and windows to see. Of course the Rockefeller Center is a must-visit. Seeing the tree in person is even better than on TV or in the pictures. You can even get the perfect Instagram photo there! Shopping around with all of the holiday deals and sales is not too bad either!
So whether you are in the front row at your favorite band’s concert or pretending to fly on your ice skates at Rockefeller Center, make this break one to remember! You also should remember to keep time for yourself. Start a fire and scroll through your Tumblr account or put on your favorite holiday movie! (Mine is Holiday in Handcuffs!) Happy Holidays!
