Hi Readers,

I hope you enjoy this issue of the Thoma! With all that has been going on these past few weeks, it’s nice to see so many students commenting on current events. One question I often get from students is, “I want to contribute, but I’m not a good writer”. No one should feel unable to contribute because of their current writing abilities. We encourage all students of all writing backgrounds to have their voices heard. I tutored students in the Center of Academic Excellence for over two years. I loved it! It was extremely rewarding when a student was able to correct their errors and feel proud about what they wrote. Here at the Thoma, we are more than willing to help a struggling student publish an article on a topic they feel passionate about.
I hope that encourages some students to give publishing a shot!
I hope you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving. I am extremly thankful for my fantastic E-board, writers, and readers!
Kind regards,
Jeanine Grillo
