October just happens to be one of the best months of the year. The leaves are changing, the air is getting cooler, and Halloween is in full swing. Halloween is going to be great this year! There are so many awesome costume ideas out there, including characters from Orange is the New Black, Caitlin Jenner, minions, and so much more!
Rockland County is the perfect place to be for Halloween because there are so many great activities to indulge yourself in to get into the Halloween spirit. STAC’s own Oktoberfest is at the top of our October to-do list. On October 15, you can join in on all the fun at the Romano Center. There will be pumpkin decorating, Twister, Apple Cider treats, balloon popping competition, and other great activities that will put a little spook into your step.
One of my personal favorite places to go at this time of year is The Great Jack O’ Lantern Blaze! You get to walk through thousands of beautiful hand-carved pumpkins that will inspire you to get carving yourself.
If you are feeling adventurous and up for a little road trip, you can head to Six Flags for Fright Fest and enjoy some crazy roller coasters with a side of crazy characters. This is sure to give you goosebumps, but a memorable night as well. You are guaranteed to have a spooktacular time if you have enough guts. Halloween is just around corner so get out there and join in on all it has to offer! Push your limits and join in on all the creepy, scary, spooky October fun.
