Before the caps are thrown and diplomas are received, the senior class has yet another series of events to do before they all walk next month. The class of 2015 has had a number of meetings on what to do for this years senior week.

A good majority of the seniors have requested it and they now got it. Just like last years graduating class and the one before them, the seniors will be going to the Captain Lawrence Brewery in Westchester County on Friday, May 1. To start things off for their last week at STAC, the seniors will be enjoying nice deals on well crafted beer, eating huge pretzels and a catwalk tour of the brewery. The following night is the second event where the class will enjoy a community campfire in front of the Romano. On Saturday, there is a Baccalaureate Mass at Sacred Heart Church to wish the seniors good luck in their future endeavors. The rest of the day will consist of a Barbeque on the front lawn in front of the Romano, provided by dining services. And Saturday night will be a trip to Citi Field in Queens for a Mets game as they play the Washington Nationals.

Dining at a top restaurant following an afternoon of gambling in one of the most popular Casino’s in the country, thats the STAC Senior Week experience. Their $30 tickets earn them round trip transportation, a $15 food voucher and $15 free betting on the big wheel, and an opportunity to dress trendy upscale. On Monday, there’s going to be a pancake breakfast at the McNelis Commons dining hall along with trivia games.

The seniors will then get to experience what its like to get an indoor amusement park to themselves. At iPlay America in Freehold, New Jersey, they have the opportunity to play laser tag, go go-karting and enjoy drinks at the bar. Their $44 ticket provides them round trip transportation, admission to the park and all the rides they can handle. And finally, on Tuesday, the seniors last event will be their formal dance at The View on the Hudson. The priciest event of the entire week will consist of everyone dressing up fancy and dancing just three days before they walk.
